Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a health promotion project guideline for the workers in charge of the Army Division's health promotion project. The study was based on the CLEAR Toolkit¡¯s four steps named as ¡®Treat, Ask, Refer, Advocate¡¯.

Methods: This methodological study was performed by two phase. First, focus group interview of fifteen workers in charge of the Army Division's health promotion project was carried out to make-up a guideline draft. Second, a validity test was done by five experts of military health promotion project, then the authors finalized the guideline based on their opinions.
Results: The guideline was consisted of 11 theme clusters and four clusters called ¡®Check the health problems¡¯, ¡®Ask about health promotion needs¡¯, ¡®Refer to in and out of military system¡¯, ¡®Advocate for consistent health promotion activities¡¯.
Conclusion: So, this guideline will be used to more effectively improve the health statues of army soldiers when offering health promotion project.
